This Somerset County folklife festival gathers over 100 juried artisans and craftspeople for demonstrations of pioneer era trades like blacksmithing and broom making, timed to the peak of fall foliage in the Allegheny highlands. The Springs Historical Society has run the festival since the 1960s at its grounds near the Maryland border. Roughly 10,000 visitors attend over the two day run.
