The Sparta Renaissance Faire takes over Camp Sacajawea in Lafayette Township for three consecutive weekends every September, with jousting, period vendors and costumed performers recreating a Renaissance village in the woods. Now in its ninth year, it has grown into one of North Jersey's larger recurring Renaissance events. The 2026 season runs September 5-6, 12-13 and 19-20.
