Gaffney's Peach Festival runs across roughly ten days each July with a downtown parade, a concert at Jolly Park and stands selling every peach dessert imaginable. Cherokee County has been one of the state's top peach producers for decades, and the festival has celebrated the harvest since 1966. It is timed to the peak of the local peach season.
