Thai Town closes six blocks of Hollywood Boulevard between Western and Normandie for a Thai New Year water festival with food vendors, traditional dance and live music. Sawasdee Thai Town has run the festival since 2004 and it now draws large crowds each spring, among the largest Songkran celebrations outside Thailand. The date typically falls in mid to late April.
