Annual parade and street festival along historic Sistrunk Boulevard, founded in 1979 by the City of Fort Lauderdale and the Northwest Business Association. Named for Dr. James Franklin Sistrunk, an early Black physician in Broward County, it draws large crowds for a morning parade, a 5K run, and a day of music and international food. It is one of the county's longest-running African-American cultural celebrations.
