San Antonio's Pride season runs across two linked events: a River Walk parade in late May and a larger parade and festival along North St. Mary's Street known as Pride Bigger Than Texas in late June. The celebration traces its roots to an unofficial 1975 march and has grown into one of the city's largest annual gatherings.
