San Angelo's stock show and rodeo has run each spring since 1932, combining a PRCA rodeo, livestock judging, and a parade through downtown that draws ranching families from across the Concho Valley. It is one of the longest running rodeos in West Texas. The rodeo performances take place nightly at the Foster Communications Coliseum.
