A three-day celebration of Pueblo's signature chile pepper crop and pinto beans, held along Union Avenue in downtown Pueblo. The festival includes a chile eating contest, cooking demonstrations, live music, and a hot air balloon rally, and has run since 1996. It draws roughly 100,000 visitors from across Colorado and neighboring states each September.
