St. Louis has held a Pride celebration since 1980, when the Lesbian and Gay Pride Celebration Committee organized the city's first march down Lindell Boulevard. The festival moved to its current downtown Market Street location in 2013 and now draws crowds in the hundreds of thousands with a Grand Pride Parade and national touring acts.
