PigFest TN is a three day backyard barbecue competition at Veterans Park in Hendersonville each fall. More than 50 competitors from around the country compete for prize money, alongside a concert, food trucks, pig races and a college football watch party. The festival began in 2019 and has raised over 350,000 dollars for local charities.

Hendersonville's HolidayFest combines a downtown Christmas parade with more than 50 floats with a tree lighting ceremony at Memorial Park a couple of hours later, ending with Santa Claus riding in at the parade's close.
