The Ohio Sauerkraut Festival lines Main Street in Waynesville with hundreds of craft and food vendors selling sauerkraut in everything from pizza to fudge. Started in 1970, it now draws crowds numbering in the hundreds of thousands over one weekend each October. It is one of the largest single-weekend festivals in the state.
