Downtown Newberry closes its streets for a German style biergarten, food vendors and handmade craft booths, with a Friday evening Festbier kickoff followed by a full day of music on Saturday. Admission is free. The festival has grown into one of the Midlands' larger fall gatherings since it began in the historic square.
