Broad Street closes to cars on two December Wednesday evenings and three Sunday afternoons for this walkable holiday market, a tradition the Nevada City Chamber has run since 1978. Costumed carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, and local vendor booths fill the historic Gold Rush-era downtown. The 2026 dates are Sundays December 6, 13, and 20, and Wednesdays December 9 and 16.
