ArtsQuest's ten day music festival takes over Bethlehem's north and south sides each summer with more than 500 performances across 15 stages, most of them free. Since 1984 it has grown into one of the largest free music festivals in the country, pairing headline concerts at the Wind Creek Steel Stage with buskers and local acts on neighborhood stages. It typically opens with a Thursday preview night in late July.
