Mountain Creek Resort converts its base area into a Bavarian beer garden each September, with German food, dozens of beers and ciders, and oompah bands under the Kittatinny Ridge. Now in its 42nd year, it ranks among the longest running Oktoberfests in New Jersey. Sky rides, lawn games and a petting zoo run alongside the beer tents for families. The 2026 edition runs Saturday and Sunday, September 19 and 20.
