A one day crawfish boil and country music concert at Sam Houston Race Park raises money for Boots for Troops, a Tomball based veterans charity, and has grown into one of the region's larger charity crawfish festivals. Past lineups have booked national Texas country acts alongside the boiled crawfish, cook off and kids zone. It has run every April for more than a decade.
