Maple Syrup Fest is a free, family-friendly celebration of the maple sugaring season at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, with demonstrations of traditional syrup-tapping methods and taste tests. The 2026 festival ran March 14 from 1 to 4pm; the next edition is expected on a similar mid-March Saturday in 2027.

Billed as Wisconsin's largest Memorial Day parade, the Monona event begins with a 9:30am ceremony at Monona Grove High School followed by a parade down Monona Drive to Sennett Middle School at 10am.
