Texas's biggest motorcycle rally shuts down downtown Galveston and the Seawall for four days every November, drawing hundreds of thousands of riders for bike shows, live music and a mile of vendor stalls. It has run annually since 1987 and is now one of the largest rallies in the country. Locals plan their whole November weekend around the roar of it, one way or another.
