Bishopville turns its Main Street into a celebration of the Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp, a reptilian creature reportedly seen nearby in 1988. The one day festival includes a parade, live music, a car show and vendors, and has run since 2021. Proceeds support local youth programs through the Boys and Girls Club.
