Light the Ice is Monona's holiday tree lighting at the Lake Ridge Bank River Rink, with stilt walkers, aerial performers, and a Santa meet-and-greet around the lighting of a 20 foot spruce strung with 10,000 lights. It runs alongside a separate holiday lights parade through downtown Monona and is held annually in early December.
