The Southern Nevada Association of Pride holds Las Vegas Pride in October rather than June, once the desert evenings finally cool down. A Friday night parade lights up Downtown Las Vegas at 4th Street and Bridger Avenue, followed the next weekend by an outdoor festival with live entertainment at Desert Breeze Events Center. The celebration has run since the 1990s.
