A pioneer-era craft and history festival held in Johnny Appleseed Park along the St. Joseph River, on the grounds where John Chapman is buried. Costumed traders, open-fire cooking, and four stages of music fill the park each September, and the event has run since 1975. It draws roughly 300,000 visitors over the weekend.
