Levy Park in Upper Kirby hosts one evening of Diwali celebration each October, with a Bollywood concert, fashion show, henna artists and a bazaar of Indian street food. It has grown into one of Houston's largest public Diwali gatherings, open to all ages and free to attend. Organizers time it to the lunar calendar's festival of lights.
