Green River Festival fills the Franklin County Fairgrounds with three days of folk, roots and Americana music alongside a hot air balloon glow and local food vendors. It grew from a 1986 concert celebrating a local radio station into one of western Massachusetts's largest annual gatherings, marking its 40th anniversary in 2026. The 2027 edition runs June 18 through 20.
