The Great Frederick Fair fills the Frederick County Fairgrounds with livestock shows, a demolition derby, a midway and grandstand concerts for nine days every September. The fair traces its roots to an 1852 county agricultural show and is one of the largest county fairs in Maryland. Fairgoers come from across Frederick County and neighboring counties for the run.
