Gormanudur brings Viking and medieval reenactors to Vasa Park each November, named for the old Norse word for the first month of winter. Volunteers from Medieval Scenarios and Recreations run combat demonstrations, bardic performances and period games, and guests are welcome to come in Viking or medieval dress. It joined Vasa Park's community festival calendar alongside its long running summer Steampunk event.
