Galena Country Fair started in 1979 as a small handful of craft booths overlooking the Galena River and has grown into a juried show of more than 100 artisans. Jo Daviess Country Fair Charities runs it and has returned over a million dollars in proceeds to area nonprofits since 2003. The fair fills Grant Park on Columbus Day weekend each October.
