The UW-Madison Arboretum leads free, naturalist-guided Full Moon Night Walks from its Visitor Center roughly once a month from spring through fall, letting visitors' eyes adjust to moonlight while listening for owls and other night sounds. Each walk needs free advance registration; the 2026 season's remaining walks fall on September 26 and October 24.
