The Danish villages of Elk Horn and Kimballton hold Julefest on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving, centered on the working Danish windmill relocated from Norre Snede, Denmark in 1976. More than two dozen local businesses, museums and historic sites take part in the two town Danish Christmas celebration.
