The PGA Tour's annual stop at PGA National Resort's Champion Course, long known locally as the Honda Classic, has brought professional golf to Palm Beach Gardens every February since 1972. The Champion Course, nicknamed the Bear Trap for its brutal closing holes, has hosted the tournament since 2007. It opens the Tour's Florida Swing each year.
