The Chicago Gospel Music Festival brings gospel artists to Millennium Park for a free celebration produced by the city's Department of Cultural Affairs. It has run since 1985 and is one of the largest gospel festivals in the country. The 2026 edition took place July 24 and 25; 2027 is expected on the same late-July weekend.
