The Central Washington State Fair is one of Washington's two state designated fairs, held each fall at State Fair Park in Yakima. Its roots trace to the 1890s, when the state legislature designated Yakima as a state fair site, and today it is a ten day event with concerts, a rodeo, a carnival midway, and agricultural competitions drawing visitors from across the Pacific Northwest.
