Carmi's Kiwanis Club has run Corn Day since 1929, one of the oldest harvest festivals in southern Illinois. The weekend includes a parade, pet parade, cornhole tournament, and a corn-tasting event at the historic Ratcliff Inn. The 2026 festival is its 97th year.
