Boston Ballet performs Mikko Nissinen's staging of The Nutcracker at the Citizens Opera House every winter, with dozens of performances running from late November through New Year's Eve. The production has been a Boston holiday tradition for decades and includes a sensory friendly matinee each season. It remains one of the city's best attended annual arts events.
