The Big Bear Lake Convention Center turns into a Bavarian beer hall on weekends from early September through early November, with live oompah bands, stein-holding contests, and traditional German food. It has run for over three decades and is one of the longest-running Oktoberfest celebrations in Southern California. Weekends are split between family afternoon sessions and adults-only evening sessions.
