Little Italy closes India Street each October for the Galbani Bella Vita Fest, a celebration of Italian heritage with street chalk art, wine tasting, live Italian music, and food from the neighborhood's restaurants. Timed to Italian Heritage Month, it grew out of Little Italy's older Festa tradition and has run since 2023. The free festival draws families and food lovers into the streets between Date and Fir streets.
